Is there an advantage for me to register early?
You can save up to $20 by registering early (early bird rate must be paid by June 10). Another important reason is that you will be able to get your choice of breakout sessions, since those are on a first come, first served basis! Finally, rooms at the Holiday Inn are limited and will be reserved based on availability.
Can I pay for the registration fees online?
Yes, we have contracted Acceptiva to be our credit card payment method online. Acceptiva is completely safe and secure. It is the easiest way to register, so go to the online registration and register now!
Why do you encourage people to attend the conference as a team/core group?
Each year this conference has been a place for people who care about rallying their teams for transformational leadership culture and vision. Coming to the conference with your core/team will save 10,000 words describing to your group what this kind of culture and vision look like. So, invite your core/team members to come with you to this year's conference! If you are coming from another church, this could be a great chance to see how we foster spiritual movement and do leadership development at NewSong.
Does the conference provide childcare?
While families are important to us, we cannot provide childcare at this conference.
What time will the conference start on Friday, July 13th?
There will be 2 Pre-Con Bonus Sessions: a 3C Alliance meeting at 10AM for members of the Third Culture Alliance ($10 includes lunch). A bonus reception with Brennan Manning will begin at 4:00 PM; everyone is invited – come early and enjoy an intimate visit with him! The first general session will begin at 7:30 PM.
Will there be CDs of the breakout/general sessions?
Yes. CDs of individual sessions will be available at $5/each. A special package rate for purchasing all of the sessions will also be available. Orders and payment will be accepted at the conference. Please refer to the CD Order Form which will be located in the folder given to you at the conference.
I need some assistance in paying for the registration fee. Are scholarships available?
Scholarships are very limited; but some partial financial assistance may be available for those who attend NewSong. You can mail your request to NewSong (Attn: VIBE07 c/o NewSong 18842 Teller Ave., Irvine, CA 92612) or email requests to: vibe07@newsong.net
Can I register at the conference?
Yes, as long as space is still available; we highly recommend registration online. Online registration will be available on Sunday, May 27th.
I'd like to get involved in the conference service team this year. Do you need volunteers?
Yes! Come and serve with us! Contact vibe07@newsong.net about your desire to serve, along with a potential area of interest (e.g. registration team, guest services team, breakout support team, welcome team, etc.).
