Jesus was a Migrant Documentary Screening & Discussion
presented by
World Relief Southern California
You’re invited to join us on June 24 for the Immigrant Heritage and Refugee Awareness Month Celebration!
As we honor the cultural diversity immigrants bring to our communities, we also grieve the displacement and difficult journeys many face in search of safety, belonging, and home.
Join us as we reflect on the realities and tensions surrounding the U.S.-Mexico border through the short documentary “Jesus Was a Migrant” and a panel discussion.
Wednesday, June 24th, 2026, 6-8 pm
What to expect that night:
- A light dinner and coffee at 6
- Jesus Was a Migrant Documentary* Screening at 6:30
- Panel discussion with the local and global partners of World Relief
*NYT bestselling author and historian Dr. Jemar Tisby traveled to the border to ask the question many have avoided: What does our faith actually require of us when it comes to migrants and asylum seekers?
